It was great to get to know them so well, we spent a full morning in Downtown Charleston taking some romantic shots before the wedding, and we were taking a lot about our personal lives and having such a great time together. I was able to see how deeply in love they were and how much this wedding meant to them. After that, I shot their rehearsal dinner and I was able to see how much love was around them, all their families and closest friends were there and it was lovely to share with them as both their videographer and guest.
"Time is the key of our lives..." and just like this Stefanie began her vows. They have a very long love story that started when they were just teenagers, when they did not understand what they were feeling. After a long time separated, living in different cities for a big part of their adult lives, their paths crossed again and now they’ve decided to spend their lives together, because their souls were waiting for this moment for so long.

They wanted me as their videographer because they saw that my work was very different from other companies and because I do customized videos. All the couples are very different and I want to do something as unique as they are. Stefanie and I were exchanging a lot of emails and we were dreaming about this video so much. I wanted to put a lot of attention on all the details that were so important to them. For example, Stefanie is diabetic and she calls Joe her “Sugar,” and I remembered this amazing bakeshop "Sugar" downtown, that has such a pretty location, so we went there to get some shots. The whole video is full of many details she asked for which means a lot to them.
